Project Accountant
About the Role:
The Project Accountant acts as a vital role in the team to complete monthly and year-end reporting. The role places importance on designing and implementing process improvements.
What You’ll Do:
• Managing the disbursements P&L process across the UK portfolio including Geographies, Retail, I&L, Valuation, Environmental Consultancy and Capital Advisors.
• Ensure accounting for disbursement provisions is correct and updated monthly.
• Working with finance business partners to provide transparency on monthly moves for both P&L and BS.
• Assisting with P&L reviews on a quarterly basis and managing finance packs
• Supporting the Financial Reporting Director with the management of the month end close.
• Collaborate with the BSO to advise on the disbursement balance sheet position.
• Process Improvements to drive real time disbursements review with the business.
• Presentable, personable, and confident individual who can easily liaise with senior management.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Technical accounting, system and excel skills necessary.
• Provide guidance to the junior members of the team.
• Assisting the Regional Controller / FC / FD with any other Ad Hoc queries

• Advanced/Intermediate Excel skills
• Adaptable to change Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA experience
