About The Role:
This internship is designed for current graduate students, pursuing a masters degree, and seeking a career in commercial real estate. Participation in the program is intended to provide a well-rounded knowledge of the commercial real estate business and valuable skills, earned by working alongside dedicated professionals in the largest and most successful global commercial real estate services firm.
The internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a strong foundation upon which to build your commercial real estate sales career. The program provides you with an outstanding perspective on our coordinated service lines. As a program participant, you will also partake in learning and development activities designed especially for you.
What You'll Do:
Placement and specific responsibilities will be based on an individual’s area of concentration, strengths, interests, and the GWS business need. Examples and will vary according to role
Work with account leadership to understand account operations, scopes of service and financial requirements within an integrated service model
Gain exposure to multiple areas of the core business and brainstorm ways to help improve standard process sharing
Develop recommendations for greater financial/operational controls and standard reporting routines
Analyze & develop plans for portfolio optimization and increased flexibility based on market and facility conditions
What You'll Need:
Full-time MBA student at a top institution between first and second year of program
Experience in commercial real estate desired, and/or curiosity about real estate and willingness to be exposed to multiple fields
Financial competence with the ability to interpret business financial documents
Demonstrated leadership and teaming capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Ability to gather, analyze, interpret and summarize data; advanced Excel skills preferred

The minimum salary for the Intern position is $30.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Intern position is $40.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
