Reporting to the Director HSE, this role is ideal for a motivated HSE professional looking to further their career in a diverse and exciting business. You will be responsible for the coordination of Health, Safety and Environment risk mitigation activities across a portfolio of properties, including monitoring team performance and developing strategies to drive continuous improvement.

You will work closely with our Facilities and Property Management team as the subject matter expert, implementing our HSE standards and ensuring all processes and procedures which support and deliver a safe and effective work environment are met.

Here's a snapshot of your day;

• Provide HSE advice, assistance, support, and recommendations to CBRE colleagues and clients on HS&E technical matters.

• Lead management programs to identify and close compliance gaps across the asset portfolio.

• Support incident reporting, investigation, and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with internal procedures and legislative requirements with support from Pacific HSE team.

• Support the revision, update, and development of HSE documentation to maintain the continuous improvement of the CBRE WHSE management system.

• Conduct audits (including HSE management system auditing) and participate in site inspections as necessary to support the identification of hazards and management of risks in the workplace.

• Complete HSE reporting activities and track defined HSE lead indicators to drive improved completion and outcomes

• Consult with internal and external clients regarding CBRE and legislative HSE requirements.

• Deliver HSE training to the team and assist the business to facilitate HSE consultative forums.

• Implement strategic HSE improvement initiatives across the asset portfolio.

Here are some of the strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;

• A relevant tertiary qualification with demonstrated experience working as a health and safety professional

• Exposure to property onsite facilities services in commercial, retail or industrial assets is desirable.

• Organised, with strong attention to detail and a responsive, proactive attitude.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with excellent verbal and written communication, sound negotiation and presentation skills and a customer service focus.

• Qualified ISO45001 Auditor (preferred)

• A willingness to travel on occasion
