About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do:
Providing regular status reports as required.
Ensuring smooth day-to-day FM operations.
Managing tender specifications and documentation for sub-contractors or service providers.
Overseeing cost and budget estimation, including preparing Schedule of Rates, evaluating quotations, and making recommendations.
Managing the contract services process, including selecting sub-consultants and sub-contractors, tender invitation, evaluation, and award recommendations.
Supervising cost control and providing monthly financial reports on progress claims by different sub-contractors.
Managing a multi-disciplinary team of sub-contractors.
Leading a team of technical and non-technical staff in performing preventive maintenance, facilities, and building works.
Acting as an ad-hoc specialist to advise the Client on improving service delivery.
Managing and conducting feasibility studies in specific problem areas within the premises or as directed by the Client.
Monitoring all sub-contractors' performance to ensure quality and workflow compliance with SOPs and procedures.
Holding regular meetings with the management of sub-contractors appointed by the Client to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with contracts and reporting structures.
Managing cases in the Smart FM platform.
Managing building risk management, safety, security, and compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act and the Client's requirements.
Ensuring logistical requirements are ready for learning facilitators to conduct training classes.
Performing any other necessary functions for effective campus operations as directed by the Client
Manage the booking of facilities.
To assist in setting up the Fire Fighting Team (CERT)
Undertaking any other necessary tasks for the property's operations as directed by the Client
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Facility Management certification (CFME) preferred.
Candidates with Fire Safety, Energy Management, Workplace Safety & Health, or Green Mark certification will be preferred.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
