As a Total Rewards Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various People (HR) initiatives, policies and procedures primarily within Total Rewards; assisting in the planning and roll-out of compensation programs, operating employee enquiry management system Service Now and supporting various People team projects and processes.

You will partner with the local & APAC People team COE’s including Talent Acquisition, Talent Learning & Development and HR Business Partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll

  • Administers timely and accurate regular payroll processing items, including on-cycle, off-cycle, commission and bonus items while maintaining strict confidentiality of information reviewed and processed.

  • Complete accurate and timely maintenance and auditing of master files, payroll-related transactions, payroll processing, and delivery.

  • Process incoming paperwork or documentation such as status changes or employee and field-initiated requests.

  • Manages the flow of vendor files to ensure files are sent, received and loaded in a timely basis / coordinates with internal HRIS/IT contacts and external vendors to ensure accurate and efficient benefit interfaces.

  • Research, check and correct employee data in the payroll system delivering a high level of quality customer service.

  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.

  • Prepares, reviews and takes appropriate action on audit reports to verify data integrity. Prepare audit reports and escalate overpayments and recoveries.

  • Assist with the process required to fund payroll-related deductions.

  • Ensure all third-party transactions are processed timely to avoid penalties and interest.

  • Prepares ad-hoc reports using human resources information systems (HRIS) information.

  • Leads and executes Service Now operations for response and resolution within SLA guides.

  • Works with department members, management, and employees to identify issues and achieve timely resolutions.

  • Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team

Total Rewards

  • Monitors HR systems (Oracle Peoplesoft) including HR, Manager Self Services (MSS) and Employee Self Services (ESS) for problems such as programming or data entry errors and facilitates resolution, whether that be by fixing the problem directly or following up with the appropriate department (e.g., IT, HR, or compensation).

  • Help administer and research compensation, salary administration programs, and strategies that are compliant and up-to-date.

  • Serve as compensation contact to People team to provide advice, direction, and guidance on compensation matters.

  • Support market benchmarking of jobs to ensure the company is in alignment with

  • industry pay.

  • Assist with the design, implementation, and communication of various compensation and salary programs such as annual performance and merit increases.

  • Support global, regional and local projects such as Global Job Architecture, employment policies and rules of employment.

  • Partner with HRBPs on communication to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package, compensation, and merit process.

People Team Support

  • Supports Talent Acquisition COE for onboarding/offboarding transactions including document control and preparing onboarding resources.

  • Supports Talent, Learning & Development COE for various training projects and talent development initiatives.

  • Supports People Business Partners for value-add business line strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR related experience.

  • At least 1 year experience in executing payroll cycle

  • Knowledge of local statutory requirements and labor law that impacts payroll

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is advantageous.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, consultative and exceptional customer service skills and the ability to problem solve in both Korean and English

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret business related documents and offer strong business solutions to clients.

  • Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor and/or management.

  • Highly driven to produce outcomes within matrix environment and multiple deadlines
