CBRE Mexico is looking for a Procurement Manager (Facilities Services)

About the Role:

As a CBRE Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting a team of employees responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers for outsourced services in the LATAM region.

The Procurement Solutions Architect team is responsible for providing 3P pricing for all pursuits in the region. The team is a key source of information in providing globally real-time market behavior, updates on competitive pricing, and developing strategic partnerships with suppliers in the region.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide formal support to the team in solution and transition processes, overseeing team deliverables to stakeholders.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, and operational shared services team members, to develop, innovate, coordinate, and execute strategy at local and regional levels.

  • Supplier relationship management. Develop new relationships, and nourish existing ones with key stakeholders in the region, ensuring supplier development and supplier engagement with CBRE in the region, with the purpose of increasing our leverage.

  • Continuous support to the Solutions Architect team Leader in daily tasks and projects.

  • Analyze account-wide facility management services spend, suppliers, operations, and statement of works to identify opportunities for value creation.

  • Monitor the training and development of staff. Support in performance evaluations. Team mentoring and coaching on a regular basis. Support the recruiting and hiring of new employees and temporary staff.

  • Mentor and educate on outsourcing best industry practices and the value of applying them.

  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

What You’ll Need:

  • In-depth knowledge of Excel Microsoft program and math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

  • Data analysis skills are a must. Large quantities of information are utilized regularly. Expertise in data management tools is desirable.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English language.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications are desirable. Procurement knowledge of the LATAM region is desirable.
