About The Role:

As a CBRE Environmental Site Assessment Vice President, you will provide quality control and technical expertise for reports written by Environmental Site Assessors. You'll coordinate technical staff activities and client accounts to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Key project delivery focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use technical knowledge and experience to review/audit reports completed by Assessors to ensure company and client protocols are met and content accurately describes the asset, prior to finalization and delivery to clients.

  • Interact regularly with client(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved. Develop and implement action plans to correct variances. Anticipate and respond to the client's needs and concerns.

  • Document and prepare bids and proposals in response to RFPs, and engage in any follow-up, as needed.

  • Run large portfolios of projects from start to finish including bidding, coordinate costing, set up of work orders, ensuring assignment of field staff, meeting project timelines, reviewing reports and delivering final product to client.

  • Collaborate on staffing of projects and resource needs. May coordinate contractors, if applicable.

  • Provide technical direction and guidance to staff assigned to projects.

  • Assemble and deliver accurate, timely, and complete reports and invoices to the client.

  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies. Lead by example and models behaviors that are consistent with CBRE's values. Provide technical mentorship, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field such as environmental science, geology, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 8-10 years relevant environmental experience required.

  • Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local environmental requirements.

  • Current Professional Engineer’s or Professional Geologist’s license or registration, CIH, CEM or one or more of the following state certifications ACM, Lead, Mold, Radon, preferred.

  • Based on locations and local regulations, this role may require specific licenses or certification issued by the federal government, state, tribe, to perform environmental inquiries as defined in §312.21

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business related documents and offer strong business solutions to clients. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, consultative and exceptional customer service skills. Ability to respond to issues, inquiries, or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor and/or management.

  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical clients.

  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts financial analysis.

  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. The position requires simultaneously leading electronic deliverables for several ongoing assignments.

  • Ability to lead key employees and client groups to take desired action.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Environmental Site Assessment Vice President position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Environmental Site Assessment Vice President position is $108,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
