JOB SUMMARY

CBRE | Heery seeks a Project Architect to join their team in Orlando, FL

The Project Architect is responsible for daily design or technical development of projects. The Project Architect may serve as lead on smaller scale projects. Most projects in the Orlando studio support public sector projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares 2D and 3D design materials.

Develops solutions to technical and design problems.

Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with material selection and system research.

Develops production drawings.

Assists with construction administration, including shop drawing reviews, material submittals, on-site inspections, etc.

SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.

EDUCATION andEXPERIENCE

Professional degree in Architecture plus 3+ years of experience in architectural planning, design.and production.

Experience with public sector projects is preferred.

Experience with REVIT is required

Knowledge of construction methods and materials, and methods of field surveying and documentation of existing conditions.

CERTIFICATES and/orLICENSES

Architecture Registration is required

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Ability to effectively present information.

Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues

FINANCIALKNOWLEDGE

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
