Here’s a snapshot of your day:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of our client’s account across 3 locations

  • Lead the facilities teams and be responsible for managing a broad scope of work such as vendor management, operational services, asset management (planned and preventative maintenance) and office management

  • Financial and operational performance of their site including reporting requirements to client and back to CBRE.

  • Business development and identifying opportunities where CBRE can support or partner with client.

  • Management of direct employees including recruitment, provision / coordination of staff training and performance management in line with HR processes

  • Onboarding processes for new team members

  • Overseeing monthly CBRE invoicing for client account.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A minimum of diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of extensive experience and/or training in facilities management.

  • Strong decision-making skills and a quality and continuous improvement focus.

  • Diploma or Degree in Facility Management or similar discipline – Preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the demonstrated ability to present information clearly in person and in writing, influence and negotiate, and to interact both discretely and effectively with staff at all levels.

  • communicate across a broad spectrum of the workforce including trades and senior management.

  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, senior management, and vendors to take the desired action.

  • Ability to forecast and prepare budgets.

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, TEAMS, Power BI and intranet/internet.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of facilities related standards including, electrical, fire, HVAC and mechanical systems.

  • Ability to lead a diverse team of facilities and client floor personnel across three sites.

  • Experience in motivating a team and driving success through strong leadership.

  • Proven ability to navigate challenging people and cultural issues.
