Keys Tasks
Fully understand our client’s permitting system (training will be provided), operate, and administer the Permit to Work (PTW) systems and ensure all approval chains are followed and all permit approvals are completed within a timely manner.
To maintain contractor attendance records and compile subcontractor reports, access and permit statistics, archiving of all permits and keep readily available for audit purposes in line with our client’s expectations.
Attend regular project meetings with delivery teams to review up-and-coming permit requests, and workloads and carry out regular monitoring of contractors and their activities.
Effectively work with and Coordinate works between the CBRE shift teams, management teams and the Client operations team and facilities shift managers.
Creation of MOPs and MOP preparations for enabling works, mechanical and electrical surveys and isolation of systems where required to enable safe working.

Education (Essential)
Recognised qualification to a minimum City & Guilds level 3, BTEC, ONC or HNC level for Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline
Computer literate, with good IT & report writing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
High Voltage Industry recognised training, course attendance and valid certification
Education (Desirable)
Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely Certificate or National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) General Certificate.
City & Guilds in Business Administration
Experience
Exposed to a variety of safe systems of work including but not limited to, Limitations of Access, Fire Systems Isolation requests, permit to work and associated high-risk permits such as Low-Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV), Electrical & Mechanical Isolations, working at height, hot works, mechanical, high pressure, excavations & confined spaces.
Five or more years working within FM and the building services industries with a minimum of one year’s experience working within a construction environment.
Previous experience within critical environments in a technical administrative role.
Experience working with risk mitigation documentation & systems.
Three or more years working within a data centre environment with a good understanding of the following process & acronyms: SOP, MOP, EOP, OEM, S-MOP, CEP & SoS
General Desirables
- Comprehension of the core CBRE RISE values Knowledge of the CBRE Quantum & Critical Environment Risk Management (CERM) systems. Availability to work out of normal working hours and at weekends where required.
