We are recruitingaM&E Shift Technicianto join the team located in Kings Cross.The successful candidate will be responsible forcarrying out reactive and planned maintenance of equipment on the contractincludingbut not limited to the water systems, waste systems, heating systems, cooling systems, air conditioning, ventilation, gas systems and building management systems.

Role Summary :

  • Deliverall planned maintenance of mechanical equipment in line with the contract requirements

  • Completeself-performmaintenance tasks on the contract assigned by the CMMS system

  • Managethird-partymaintenance contracts through the CMMS system including regular contract reviews

  • Implement reactive maintenance as required on site team

  • Quality assurance onself-performreactive works and third party works, and the administrating of associated QHSE

  • Monitor of the Client’s on-line ticketing system

  • Devise preventative measures to avoid equipment breakdown and maintain business continuity

  • Creation and maintenance of asset lists and historic records

  • Research and develop costed proposals to improve the performance of the client systems

  • Reviewthird party risk assessments and method statements and the awarding of permits through the on-line permitting system, and operating CBRE Permit to Work system

  • Managementofonsiteminor works projects

  • Attendances where required to assist project teams on large scale refurbishments, fit outs or new builds associated with contractincludingclient meetings

  • While the position will be based on a40-hourweek as laid out above, it may require some elements of the work to be performed outside of the normal working week where required

Experience Required:

  • Minimum Fetac Level 6, QQI, City and Guilds or equivalent trade qualification

  • Multipleyearsofexperience working with mechanical systems in an installation or maintenance capacity

  • Fully competent in the use of computers with the ability to create and use spreadsheets, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive etc

  • Professional imagine anddemeanour

  • Working knowledge of electrical and building fabric systems

  • Familiarity with Maximocomputer-basedfacilities management package an advantage
