Job Title Management Accountant - Payroll

Location Henrietta House

Role Purpose

The Payroll Accountant acts as a vital role in the team and works closely with the payroll manager and wider controllership team to ensure the accurate monthly reporting of salary costs to employees. The role places particular importance on ensuring all salary costs are compliant with both UK payroll regulations and US GAAP controls.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Reporting and Accounting

Post monthly payroll journals for all UK Advisory and EMEA Div businesses.

Perform monthly reconciliations for all payroll balance sheet accounts and collaborate with the BSO to advise on the payroll balance sheet positions.

Explain monthly payroll variances by payroll entity and investigate and resolve any issues.

Prepare payroll deliverables for the external auditors and resolve any queries.

Manage the payroll and pension recharge processes across CBRE segments.

Presentable, personable, and confident individual who can easily liaise with senior management.

Self-starter with attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Technical accounting, system and excel skills necessary.

Provide guidance to the CBRE business on all salary cost queries.

Assisting the Regional Controller / FC / FD with any other Ad Hoc queries

Skills/Qualifications Required

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to keep to strict deadlines

Advanced/Intermediate Excel skills

Adaptable to change

Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA experience
