At CBRE Investment Accounting and Reporting Solutions (‘CBRE IA&R’) we are hiring for a Client Management Manager/Director to join our UK Team in London. Reporting directly to the Director based in the US, you will work in an ambitious and fast growing environment fully focused on real estate.
CBRE IA&R is the only 100% dedicated Real Estate Fund and Property accounting business supporting Global and Pan-European coordination for clients providing Fund & SPV Accounting, Investor Reporting, and Performance Measurement services to real estate investment companies, sovereign wealth funds , and other institutional investors in key financial markets.
Within CBRE IA&R, you will be challenged to develop yourself, to extend your knowledge and skills and to further improve and professionalize various processes within the company.
What are going to be your main responsibilities?
Set standards and processes for client administration
For new clients, partner with Onboarding teams to take view on contracting structure, which links to KYCs needs and impacts finance set-up. Leverage expertise of functional partners (legal, compliance, finance).
Partner with sales team to ensure client administration set-up considered as required during sales phase.
Post onboarding phase, work with Client Account Leaders (“CALs”) & finance team to build & maintain: fee calulators, billing processes (including VAT) and collections / AR review
Owner / driver of finance administrative processes - leveraging finance billing team & CALs.
Liaison between finance and CAL community to build solutions for financial processing
Drive consistent approach in region, and ultimately globally.
Dive into accounts one by one to put on to standardized process
Partner with CM Leadership to focus on profitability reviews, providing CAL data / benchmarks, roll-out of time tracking, etc.
Review Pricing Model inputs for EMEA for onboarding/client management and maintain underwriting for comparison against future profitability.
Support KPI process and administration for contracted clients
What are we looking for?
8-10 years of professional experience in a similar position or responsibilities
Professional experience building processes and models
Excellent soft skills
Finance background and attention to detail
Can operate well in a matrix environment partnering with other teams
Professional services experience will be a plus
Fluent communication skills in English
