We are recruiting for a Senior Associate FP&A professional to join the APAC Direct Real Estate team of CBRE Investment Management, one of the world’s leading real assets investment management firms with US$147.6 billion of assets under management (as of 30 June 2023)

This person will manage, conduct and document a broad range of financial planning and analysis activities, timely and accurate controlling and reporting activities, financial reporting and ad hoc projects for APAC region, including regular communications with the HQ in US and other business units of the Group.

Here’s what you’ll focus on:

• Manages and/or assists budgeting process, capital planning process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting;

• Assists in regional coordination, oversight and performance of financial analysis and reporting including: standard monthly management reporting and variance analyses, account reconciliations, financial reporting, tax reporting, cash flow; intercompany reconciliation;

• Evaluates and analyzes a variety of financial results and indicators such as financial scenarios, operating profitability, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, capital expenditures, depreciation, etc. Recommends actions that may be taken to improve financial results and KPIs;

• Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues, expenses, co-investment returns, capital deployments and AUM;

• Prepares financial models for new and existing products profitability and scenario analyses;

• Prepares reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions and operational procedures and recommends ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness;

• Assists in compliance with local GAAP and local regulatory/taxation requirements and matters in various jurisdictions in the region;

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline

• Appropriate professional accounting qualification

• 7 to 8+ years of related professional experience, preferably covering both US MNC and Big 4 public accounting

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

• Experience working with various offices and teams and/or shared services center preferred

• Knowledge of real estate or FMCG industry is a definite plus

• Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired (particularly OneStream, PeopleSoft Financials, Cadency/BlackLine, Cognos TM1, OneSource, Integrity/TRAX, Smartsheet)
