The Role
To deliver excellent guest relations, beverage and catering service to both internal and external clients in a multinational financial institution.
For the successful person, this is a unique opportunity to immerse in one of the world’s most iconic banking brands and putting yourself on the map within CBRE.
A typical day may involve:
Provide beverage service to meeting attendees with warm greeting
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the beverage pantry at all time
Perform dish washing after meetings and events
Perform equipment cleaning and up keeping
Assist reception & event team to prepare and execute functions per event order
Set up meeting room style with furniture and equipment according to business requirement
Assemble food display, beverage station for meeting with breakfast, tea break, luncheon or cocktail event in formal catering setting
Track and report beverage consumption
Assist with audio visual equipment set up; connection for audio and video conferences
Be a stand by person throughout meeting when required from business
Take lead and delegate work tasks when ad hoc temporary catering staff are on site
Report any client feedback
Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirement
Conduct regular floor inspection to ensure meeting rooms and general area are clean and tidy; furniture and audio visual equipment are functional
Liaise with vendor for equipment checking and repairing
Responsible for forecasting and tracking pantry consumables; order in regular basis
Perform stock taking of crockery and cutleries, meeting room support items
Assist with staff pantry consumable tracking and ordering; items distribution
Assist Site Lead with any administrative duties or project work as required
Requirements
(ESSENTIAL) - Strong organizational and time management skills
(ESSENTIAL) - Attention to detail
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
(ESSENTIAL) - Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service focus
Food and Beverage experience in fine dining restaurant or five stars hotel
(PREFERRED) - Previous exposure in similar position within corporate sector is preferred
Basic understanding on audio visual equipment
Knowledge of MS office; Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint
