Job Description

  • Assist in drafting of EOP/SOP & MOPs

  • Assist in delivering Data Center operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 data centre operation to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs, site certifications and legislative requirements.

  • Maintain 24/7 continuity of utilities and ancillary services such as electrical, gas, air-conditioning, heating, water, sewerage, drainage, cleaning and waste management.

  • Complete tasks with minimal disruption to the customer and their customers as assigned by Critical Facility Manager.

  • Work closely with the Customer to respond to, investigate and close out any service issues, escalating to the Critical Facility Manager or Director where these can’t be dealt with at a site level.

  • Monitor and inspect Data Centre infrastructure including electrical, fire protection, ACMV, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within the design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by Customer.

  • Oversee and inspect the work performed by external sub-contractors. Contracted work may include Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing , Fire Protection and Cleaning services.

  • Supervise and monitor assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance works.

  • Complete and maintain maintenance and repair records.

  • Review assigned work orders. Estimate the time and materials needed to complete the repairs. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

  • Maintain the Energy Management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.

  • Maintain the building general lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.

  • Respond to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed and assist with first response and Incident Management.

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Building Services Engineering is highly preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of E&M / technical facilities maintenance experience in Engineering Consultancy / Building Services / Facilities Management industry

  • Intermediate English proficiency for handling business written communications, reports and other paperwork.

  • Immediately available candidates highly preferred
