About The Role:

As an Art Director at CBRE, your primary role will be to create superior strategic and comprehensive graphic design materials that effectively support clients and further the company's marketing strategies.

This role falls within a Graphic Design job function. Key responsibilities will be to develop innovative creative that pushes beyond the boundaries of traditional, industry-specific standards. The ideal candidate is a senior level graphic designer looking for their next step! They will be adept at producing captivating visuals that can effectively communicate our brand voice and visual identity. The Art Director will work closely with marketing teams, clients, and brokerage stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into compelling product.

What You'll Do:

  • Design advanced interactive, digital marketing and editorial, print collateral that aims to serve and grow CBRE’s client base.

  • Advise on art direction and exercise leadership responsibilities according to business development and property marketing project requirements and client needs.

  • Ensure artwork across various mediums and focus areas is consistent, organized and follows all fundamental graphic design principles. Continually audit output to ensure thoughtful application in all materials.

  • Engage daily across departments to consult on a full lifecycle creative process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that collective design materials adhere to the organization's aesthetic standards as well as custom and brand guidelines.

  • Manage large, complex design projects using team formation and delegation when needed.

  • Review and approve drafts. Provide collaborative feedback and guidance to design colleagues and have the team apply necessary edits when applicable.

  • Learn standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Propose recommendations for process improvement and align with marketing leadership to plan paths of implementation.

  • Identify broad design training and professional development opportunities and establish tools for continued learning. Mentor and train other creatives.

  • Stay up to date on design and technology trends. Regularly share findings to promote broader discussion and champion a creative community.

  • Model behavior that is exemplary of CBRE RISE values to impact and progress the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor’s degree preferably in visual communications, marketing graphic design or similar field with 5-8 years of relevant, professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Expert level experience with Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Publish.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve complex problems.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
