About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective planning of maintenance work orders with the objective of maximizing technician wrench-time and minimizing client business interruptions for a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Work order planning will consist of, but not limited to, safety & environment requirements, materials & kitting, specialty tools, job plan/task(s), & required labor/resources.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Reviews & plans work to be performed (consult with client, leads, supervisors, originator, production supervisors and other planner/schedulers as necessary).

  • Scope and organize all information, parts, tools, job plans, drawings & special procedures required for the craftsperson to perform the work.

  • Approaches all aspects of the work to be performed with safety as the highest priority.

  • Determines and identifies labor and skills required to self-perform the work or if external support (subcontractors) is required.

  • Keeps accurate (KPI) metrics on the performance of planning functions and provide timely reports to the Site Manager as required.

  • Continuously improves the job packages by receiving feedback from technicians, supervisors, engineers, and client staff.

  • Manage annual purchase orders & daily invoicing.

  • Using your experience and skills determine time estimates for reactive/corrective work orders.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with at least 3 years of relevant planning & scheduling experience with-in a CMMS platform (Maximo preferred).

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic equipment parts and manufacturing equipment.

  • Demonstrated competence with computers experience with MS Office is necessary.

  • Knowledge and experience with HSE and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to professional communicate with vendor(s) regarding purchase orders and invoicing.

  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, run rates, averages, and projected rates.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.

  • Strive for continuous improvement for processes, procedures, job plans, Preventative maintenance, and more.

  • Ability to read standard blueprints, machine, and P&ID drawings. Ability to sketch or redline existing drawings.

  • Ability to work in a team or individually (self-driven).

  • Organizational skills highly desired.
