Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) - Local is a hard services-led, tailored facility management solution. We self-perform hard services while partnering with best-in-class soft service providers to offer custom facility and project management solutions to our clients. We focus on empowering our team with a high-level of downstream accountability resulting in an agile and efficient service delivery.

In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience.

About the role

We are looking for Facilities professionals which include:

  • Warehouse Technician

  • Maintenance Technician

  • HVAC Technician

  • Electrician

  • Chief Building Engineer

  • Building Engineer

Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds. Supervise building system operations and performance. Utilizes trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

What you’ll need

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• A minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.

• Additional certification in one or more of the following preferred: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.

• Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your work.

• Finish the required and assigned safety training at a satisfactory level

• Follow all activity policies and procedures, including all safety related requirements at all times
