About The Role:

As a CBRE VAS Hotels Advisory Consultant, you will prepare draft deliverables for a large set of clients within your division. You'll prepare start to finish intermediate level Market & Feasibility Studies, Operator Searches, Acquisition Due Diligence services, and other Advisory assignments reviewed by team leadership.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist senior team members in development of proposal responses and deliverables for client pursuits.

  • Provide guidance to analysts, with emphasis on training, quality control, and attention to detail.

  • Support the needs of clients and optimize their outcomes with appropriate resources and subject area authorities.

  • Assist team leadership with execution of more complex assignments.

  • Develop client and industry contacts, actively promoting services internally and externally. Attend local industry conferences and events and pursue opportunities for impactful client interactions.

  • Coordinate with team members for quality control and adherence to policies.

  • Manage analysts' research efforts and recommend data to be included in information source files.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred, in Hotel Administration, Marketing, or related area(s).

  • 4-6 years of experience, intermediate-level role in production, business development and mentoring.

  • HSMA / CHM / Member of significant hotel associations such as AH&LA, CHA, or ISHC.

  • Track record of developing and maintaining good client relationships. Recognized as a future industry expert and has some history of operating at a moderate to high level of production with a strong growth trajectory. Exhibits leadership and management potential, and clearly demonstrates ambition for career advancement.

  • Knowledge of hotel operations and investments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Some travel required (US) as is customary in the normal course of business for conducting Advisory assignments.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
