About the Role:

As a CBRE Sr Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain all site high and low voltage electrical equipment in a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee operations and maintenance of the site electrical system including the 15kV distribution switchgear, low voltage unit substations and associated breakers, transformers, switchgear, motors, panels, and circuits.

  • Heavy Interaction with Lilly Electrical Engineers as electrical program is being established.

  • Oversee & perform preventative maintenance during critical shutdowns.

  • Work closely with other crafts troubleshooting, maintaining, and replacing valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with at least 10 years of job-related experience. Master Electrician license preferred. Valid Driver's license required.

  • Experience with high voltage. (4160kV, 13.8kV)

  • NFPA 70E Trained & Knowledgeable.

  • cGMP or Critical System experience preferred.

  • strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical control systems, machine components, electronic circuits preferred.

  • Excellent client relationship skills.

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
