About the role
As a CBRE material handler you will perform general warehousing activities including unloading refrigerated trailers onto conveyance systems emphasizing material handling for the core production areas. Ensure quality of product receipt through quantity verification & visual inspection. Placement of BOL (Bill of Lading) and accurate signage on outgoing material per instructions.
This is an onsite role in Concord, NC at Pharmaceutical Manufacturing site with availability for day and overnight shifts.
What you’ll do
Timely & accurate movement of semi-finished & finished product, components, & label control material & production-related materials
Pallet prep.
Removal of wrap and corner boards.
Ability to work 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule.
Material staging area replenishment.
Wrapping of palletized product in preparation for shipment.
Daily inspections of the forklifts, warehouse, cold rooms, & freezer.
Maintain up to date training status.
Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
Ability to acquire and maintain updated Powered industrial truck certifications.
Trash removal.
Safety
Maintain and promote a Safety performance culture that is outstanding.
Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Maintain a clean and hazard free work area.
Understand the operation, inspection, and daily maintenance of powered Industrial trucks.
What you’ll need
High school diploma or equivalent experience or GED or equivalent experience required.
Ability to read, write legibly, & understand all department documentation required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance. Ability to work in cold temperatures. Corrected vision to 20/30. Ability to work rotating 24 hour on-call weekend shifts as needed. Ability to accurately judge depth from at least sixteen feet.
Experience with the following is preferred.
Minimum 1-year related experience, preferably in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) warehouse or pharmaceutical industry.
Basic math skills including knowledge of metric system.
Computer proficiencies required based Microsoft knowledge; Outlook, PowerPoint & Word.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Training or experience to demonstrate an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling & storage of hazardous materials.
Ability to operate stand-up & sit-down powered industrial trucks.
