About the Role

This position will focus on the ability to understand client portfolio, and translate it into physical space through a combination of graphic storytelling, experiential installations, and interior and architectural finishes to build unique client spaces globally.

What You’ll Do

Design consistent, compelling and highly creative environmental brand experiences across client's global real-estate portfolio.

Research location specific brands and culture and translate their stories into built environments visually.

Provide Graphic Design feedback and guidance on internal workplace initiatives like signage packages, digital strategy experience, exhibitions and frameworks that follow the client's Visual Identity System.

Collaborate with Project Design Manager, design team members and functional partners for seamlessly integrated designs.

Provide guidance on Architectural and Interior finishes that meet the comprehensive client experience.

Reference construction documents for coordination and understanding of built environments.

Integrate brand experiences within both existing spaces and new construction.

Understand and interpret visioning results into local storytelling and brand experience

Strong abstract thinking and ability to synthesize information into a compelling, easily-digestible story

Produce detailed design intent direction and documentation for partner fabricators to produce from.

Lead all aspects of fabrication and installation processes.

Drive efficiencies in storytelling and implementation by creating vital resources or strategic documents that enhance creative efforts.

Lead Junior Designers to fulfill creative needs to execution by project including real-estate project needs, Fine Art exhibitions, new graphics for client brands, design resource support, digital and print communications for associates and other miscellaneous needs

Provide Graphic Design feedback and guidance on internal workplace initiatives like signage packages, digital strategy experience, exhibitions and frameworks that follow client Visual Identity System

Benchmark and research best in class.

Ideate on new critical initiatives and evaluate past projects for continuous improvements.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor Degree from any of the following fields: Graphic Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design or Architecture with strong Graphic Design Skills and minimum of 7 years of related experience or training

Strong ability to communicate and translate brand through visual communication in built environments (environmental graphics, custom experiences, interactive installations, etc.).

Comprehension of architectural scales, sections, plans and elevations

Working knowledge and communication of architectural and fabrication processes, vendor management, basic materiality, and design documentation

Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experience with 3D modeling programs (SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Dimension) and Wayfinding Signage preferred.

Strong presentation skills and ability to covey concepts verbally.

Works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
