The job purpose is to conduct planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment, and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, undertake small installation works and respond to site engineering emergencies. The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site.

Job Responsibilities

  • that routine maintenance is conducted to all electrical / Mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.

  • Reporting of all defects via correct process and consult with the supervisor of defect requirements.

  • Consult with sub-contractors as required for repairs / quotations, monitoring performance of sub-contractor personnel. Ensuring works have been undertaken correctly and work area has been left in a satisfactory condition. Reviewing of test documentation from subcontractors.

  • Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks in line with policies and procedures in a timely manner.

  • Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the client representative and client’s personnel.

  • Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.

  • To accurately maintain the site logs and associated paperwork.

  • Understand and maintain all systems on site within scope.

  • Liaise and work with other trade engineers to ensure electrical issues on all systems are addressed and resolved within SLA agreements.

  • Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.

· Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance.

· Perform new installations of equipment, issuing certificates as required by 18 th Ed.

Person Skills

  • A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.

  • Valid, clean driver’s license - Essential

  • Recognized Electrical Qualification - Essential

  • C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations - Essential

  • Experience of working in industrial setting, including maintenance and installation of three phase power.

  • Ability to analyse practical solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • IPAF qualification – Desirable

· Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
