JOB SUMMARY

Manages a broad range of complex financial analysis and/or financial reporting activities to measure profitability for a region, line of business or large, complex client. Includes the management of such functions as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, strategic planning and management reporting processes and work product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monthly / Quarterly reporting:

  • Assist FP&A manager to deliver monthly Client and Corporate P&L reporting across multiple regions including commentary and financial analysis.

  • Work with FP&A manager to produce clear MI to regional FDs in order to understand Client and Corporate performance

  • Support the regional FDs to ensure alignment with US Corporate team for monthly/quarterly reporting submissions, including communication with country finance teams to deliver on requests and requirements.

  • Ongoing business partnering supporting the continued development of MI, provision of value add analysis and leveraging recent Adaptive/People Soft/Power BI enhancements centrally.

Annual Budget /Quarterly Forecasting:

  • Work with FP&A manager and regional FDs on monthly rolling forecasts and identify risks and opportunities in forward projections.

  • Assist the FP&A manager in production of Client annual budget including planning process and communicating it to the client

  • Work with Finance and Operational teams to agree budget / forecast timelines, defining clearly what needs to be delivered and ensuring the timetable is aligned to the Corporate and Client timetable.

  • Assist with co-ordinating Budget/Forecast reviews, consolidate regional budget / forecast proposals (e.g using a Bridge) for Global Head of Finance review

  • Final Plan / Forecast loads to Adaptive systems and ensure data is consistent with approved Final position.

Ad hoc analysis and project work:

  • Support the implementation of ERP system to Adaptive (consolidation tool) in order to complete monthly reporting

  • Support the implementation of Client reporting structure changes in Adaptive (consolidation system)

  • Assist in preparation of ad-hoc analytical requests from multiple stakeholders including the Global Head of Finance/Regional FDs / Operational teams.

  • Deliver responses to ad-hoc requests in a format tailored to the stakeholder who may include those from non-financial backgrounds.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business related field.

  • Requires a minimum of six years related experience to include at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity. Public accounting experience preferred.

  • CPA or MBA (graduate degree) preferred, but not required (depending on experience).

  • Ability to apply excellent written and verbal communication skills to accurately explain/report activity.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects.

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials and Cognos Planning.

  • Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful.
